About
The Law Office of Charlene DO Cabral &
Cabral Family Law Group

Established in 2001, The Law Office of Charlene D. O. Cabral—now operating as Cabral Family Law Group—reflects a deliberate evolution toward sophisticated, prevention-focused legal counsel. After decades representing clients in the trial setting, the firm has transitioned from a traditional litigation model to a practice centered on strategic conflict avoidance, thoughtful negotiation, and durable resolution.

Attorney Cabral’s extensive courtroom experience provides a distinct advantage: a deep understanding of how disputes escalate, the financial and personal costs of protracted litigation, and the structural weaknesses that often lead parties back into court. This perspective informs every agreement she drafts and every mediation she conducts.

The firm concentrates on divorce mediation, complex agreement drafting, business and nonprofit advisory services, family-based immigration petitions, and structured dispute resolution. Each engagement is guided by discretion, precision, and a commitment to protecting clients’ long-term interests with clarity and foresight.

Our Commitment

At Cabral Family Law Group, our commitment is to deliver strategic, principled counsel designed to resolve conflict with dignity, efficiency, and lasting stability. We believe legal representation should not intensify disputes, prolong uncertainty, or reward delay. Instead, it should provide clarity, structure, and a deliberate path forward.

Our mediation process reflects this philosophy. Informed by decades of litigation experience, we understand how easily matters can escalate—and how costly and disruptive prolonged proceedings can become. Divorce mediation is therefore intentionally structured as a focused and disciplined process, designed to reach thoughtful, equitable resolution without replicating the inefficiencies of courtroom litigation or open-ended hourly mediation models.

We further uphold our commitment through flat-fee billing, ensuring transparency, predictability, and alignment of incentives. Our priority is resolution—not duration. Every engagement is approached with discretion, preparation, and a steadfast dedication to protecting our clients’ long-term interests with clarity and integrity.
